5 Months

Kieran continues to make us smile and wrap us around her little fingers. She has begun swimming lessons which she is not quite sure about; I am pretty sure she likes them, it's just hard to coordinate, naps, feeding and happiness at exactly 2pm. She is sitting up almost on her own; we prop her up in "her" corner of the couch, and she will play for an hour on her own. She is becoming very independant. She would rather be in her crib then cradled in your arms when being put down; she claims she's a big girl now. She is sleeping better than she has been; which is good, because for a while there she was on a downward sleeping spiral. We've also started Mother Goose, which is basically singing with a group of mother's and babies. She doesn't usually make it through the whole class, of course like all classes, it's scheduled at nap time.
We are very excited about visiting Grandpa and Grandma in Arizona next month. With a brief stop at Disneyland; but I think that is more for mom and dad then Kieran. We are looking forward to warm weather there has been snow on the ground here since November.
Can't wait to see what six months and introduction of food brings. As you can see in the pictures below we spend a lot of time on our new couch.
